Pork and apple are a perfect combination –
so here’s an easy recipe you can try at home.
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 3 red or green apples, cored, unpeeled, cut
into wedges
- handful rosemary leaves or 2 teaspoons
dried rosemary
- drop of olive oil
- salt and black pepper
Method
- Preheat oven to 210°C.
- Score fat around edge of chops
at 2cm intervals.
- Sprinkle chops with salt and
pepper and some olive oil
- Heat a large pan over high heat
- Cook 2-3 minutes on each side
and then set aside
- Spread apple wedges onto large
baking tray and sprinkle with rosemary and olive oil
- Add pork chops on top of apples
and cook for 10 minutes, until pork is cooked and apples are tender
- Serve with salad and rice
